Couples & Family Therapy
Couples therapy is a form of psychotherapy that helps to foster and rebuild relationships between partners. Partners do not need to be married in order to enroll. Couples therapy can address various issues in a relationship, such as infidelity, lack of intimacy, frequent arguments, inadequate communication style, sexual problems, and many other stressors.
Similar to couples therapy, family therapy is a form of psychotherapy that can bolster communication and resolve conflicts in a family unit. Family therapy teaches skills that strengthens family connections and get through difficult times. Family therapy can address:
- troubled parent-child relationships
- sibling conflict
- mental illness and/or substance abuse problems that may affect the entire family
